Do you remember the pigeon lady in Home Alone 2? Her husband left her, breaking her trust in people. Kevin helps her see she doesn’t have to be alone. Like that woman, thousands of people feeling isolated and alone had hope restored through a Gospel Justice Center this year.
2024 Impact
Administer Justice added 32 new Gospel Justice Centers in 2024. Over1,300 volunteers, including 250 attorneys, served across 107 Gospel Justice Centers in 19 states. As we enter 25 years of service, we look forward to advancing the vision of 1,000 Gospel Justice Centers transforming lives in the name of Christ.
Behind the Numbers
Behind each volunteer number is a person who cares about justice. They were searching for a practical way to do justice and make a difference. Someone told them about Administer Justice and they found the answer to their prayer. Hear from some of our volunteers in this video.
Behind each lawyer number is someone who saw the need for access to justice, but did not think they could be helpful. Specializing in a different field, could they make a difference? Someone told them about Administer Justice and they found fulfillment in a way they could not imagine. Impactful service was an answer to their prayer. Hear from some of our lawyers in this video.
Behind each location is a church where people come to find help and hope. Each church cares about God’s heart for justice and loving their neighbor. When someone introduced them to Administer Justice and they learned it was possible to provide gospel-centered, legal services, at no cost and high impact, they whispered a prayer of thanksgiving. Hear one church’s story.
The Eternal Difference
Our volunteers, lawyers, and churches come together because they believe no one does justice alone and no one should face injustice alone. They share Kevin’s determination to ensure no one feels alone, like the pigeon lady in Home Alone 2.
I recently volunteered at one of our centers and witnessed the impact. The man who wasn’t paid for construction work. The woman with temporary status navigating asylum. The elderly woman confused over guardianship. Each arrived burdened by the weight of confusing legal circumstances. All received encouragement from the team and specific plans for how to move forward to address the legal issues. They left straighter, lighter, and with smiles on their faces. The prayer and care shown them made a difference.
Last year we witnessed many clients come to faith in Christ or have their faith restored as they began attending church. An astounding 94% report they received the legal guidance needed and feeling a greater sense of God’s love in their life.
The Path Ahead
Behind all the stories is a person who made an introduction. A friend urged a client to call or a volunteer to serve. An attorney encouraged another attorney to provide help. Someone introduced us to a church leader. Those who responded found they were not alone. With first-class support from the AJ home office, they can be the answer to someone’s prayer.
